SB 1011 - This act allows an additional percentage of property tax collections to be deducted and deposited into the assessment fund for any county or the City of St. Louis, if the state appropriation to offset expenses incurred by the assessor in performing duties which are necessary to assess and maintain equalized assessed valuations of property, is less than an amount equal to four dollars per parcel located within such city or county. The act provides a formula to ensure that the additional percentage, when coupled with the state appropriation, will equal four dollars per parcel located within such city or county. JASON ZAMKUS
