CURRENT BILL SUMMARY
SB 969 - This act requires that the first notice of dispute of medical charges in workers' compensation cases be delivered no later than the date the provider receives the first payment for any portion of the fee charged.
Under current law, employers do not have subrogation rights in toxic exposure cases when a third person is liable to the employee. This act repeals this provision.
