CURRENT BILL SUMMARY
SB 939 - This act creates the offense of terrorism. A person commits the offense if he or she causes serious physical injury in the course of committing an act for the purpose of intimidating people, influencing government policy by intimidation, or affecting the conduct of a government.
The offense is punishable by a sentence of life without parole.
