CURRENT BILL SUMMARY
SB 570 - Several provisions in current law allow the Secretary of State to collect an additional $5 fee on fees for filings relating to business organizations, commercial transactions, and trademarks, names, and private emblems to be credited to the state's technology trust fund. These provisions are set to expire on December 31, 2026. This act repeals the expiration date.
This act is identical to provisions in HCS/SS#2/SCS/SB 10 (2025) and similar to provisions in SCS/HB 770 (2025).
