SB 211 - This act requires a two-thirds vote or more by the county salary commission to decrease the salary of any county official. All county officials shall receive the same percentage decrease. In no event shall the base salary or compensation of a county collector in any county of the first classification be reduced below the salary or compensation being paid on August 28, 2005. All actions taken by the salary commission between August 28, 2005, and December 31, 2005, shall be subject to this provision and any such action not in compliance with this subsection shall be void.
