CURRENT BILL SUMMARY
SB 802 – Current law allows school districts to contract with other agencies or entities for the provision of alternative education services for students whose demonstrated disruptive behavior indicates that they cannot be adequately served in a traditional classroom setting. This act requires school districts to contract with other agencies or entities for the provision of alternative education services in these circumstances.
