SB 671 - This act provides that an applicant for benefits under the state Medicaid system, or any person requesting uncompensated care in a hospital, must identify the employer or employers of the proposed beneficiary of the health care benefits provided under the program. The act also requires the department of social services to submit to the General Assembly an annual report, starting in calendar year 2006, identifying all such identified employers who employ 25 or more public assistance program beneficiaries.
