SB 410 - This act modifies the provision dealing with the exclusion of assets for purposes of determining eligibility for public assistance. These assets now include one home for an applicant, his or her spouse, or a dependant child, regardless of whether the home was purchased prior to or after admission to a nursing facility. Also, income-producing property, such as a farm or residential or business rental property, used by the claimant for either business or employment reasons shall be excluded. ADRIANE CROUSE
