SB 544 - This act permits the Commissioner of Administration to: · Contract directly with other governmental entities for the purchase of products, services, including construction and construction supplies, and supplies; · Purchase from education-based cooperative contracts sourced from non-governmental entities that have an established track record of performance; and · Require a contracting party to comply with any provision of law requiring financial accountability with respect to the performance of any contractual duty and to also negotiate any financial accountability measure that would enable the Office of Administration or any department to recoup funds in the event of misuse of public funds on the part of the other party.
