SB 589 - This act adds one new circuit judge position to the sixteenth judicial circuit, to sit at the city of Independence. The act also moves the division thirteen circuit judge position within this circuit from Kansas City to Independence. This act also adds one additional circuit judge position to the thirty-first judicial circuit, the twenty-sixth judicial circuit, the thirty-second judicial circuit, and the thirty-third judicial circuit. The act also removes one circuit judge position from the twenty-second judicial circuit, and provides that the position to be removed shall be determined by circuit clerk Mariano Favazza.
