SB 766 -Currently, the Residential Treatment Agency Tax Credit program will sunset after August 28, 2012. This act reauthorizes the program until August 28, 2018. The act also allows certain children's homes that are licensed and under contract with the Department of Social Services to be eligible to receive donations and apply for tax credits under this tax credit program. The act also increases the limit on the amount of tax credits that a residential care facility or children's home may receive from forty to fifty percent of the payments made by the Department of Social Services to the facility or home in the last twelve months.
