SB 755 - This act provides that in the absence of prior experience working in a long-term care facility, newly hired inspectors or surveyors shall be assigned by the Department of Health and Senior Services to a long-term care facility for at least two days within a seven-day period to observe the facility operation outside of the survey process before the inspector or surveyor begins survey responsibilities. Also, the department shall not assign an individual to survey a long-term care facility in which the surveyor was an employee within the preceding five years. This act also repeals Section 198.057, RSMo, a doubly enacted statute relating to training and regulations of inspectors and surveyors of long-term care facilities. ADRIANE CROUSE
