SB 643 – Any parent or guardian who chooses to send his or her child to a public, private, parochial, parish school, or combination thereof, in the St. Louis City School District or Kansas City School District must do as at age five. This change will begin in the 2013-2014 school year. This change will not apply to any parent or guardian who intends to enroll his or her child in a home school. This act is identical to HB 1843 (2012), and is similar to SB 124 (2011) and HB 835 (2011). MICHAEL RUFF
