SB 452 - Except as provided under the powers of sports authorities, any entity that owns, operates, or leases a sports stadium for which 10% or more of the construction costs are derived from state or local taxes shall not prohibit a member of the broadcast or print media from reasonable access to the sidelines of the playing area to obtain photographic or video coverage other than enforcing reasonable rules to protect the safety of the public and the players. A member of the media who is denied reasonable access to the sidelines may bring a cause of action in the circuit court with jurisdiction where the stadium is located to recover actual damages.
