SB 748 - This act requires that amateur radio license plates contain the words "AMATEUR RADIO" in place of the words "SHOW-ME-STATE". Previous plate owners making a new application and paying a new fee to retain an amateur radio plate may request a replacement plate with the words "AMATEUR RADIO" in place of the words "SHOW-ME-STATE". If the application is made to retain a plate that is three years old or older, the replacement plate will be issued at no additional charge. If the plate is less than 3 years old, a replacement plate charge will apply. This act is identical to SB 89 (2003). STEPHEN WITTE
