SB 524 - This act increases the number of members on the Missouri Housing Development Commission from 6 members to 8 members. The act further specifies that 3 members must serve two-year terms, 3 members must serve three-year terms, and 2 members must serve four-year terms. At least one member must be from Kansas City and one from St. Louis, who will be chosen from a panel of three selected and submitted to the Governor by the respective city councils. Under the act, 7 members shall constitute a quorum rather than the current number of 6. This act is identical to HB 651(2011). STEPHEN WITTE
