HB 993 -- Student Housing

Sponsor: Cierpiot

This bill prohibits colleges, universities, and community
colleges which receive state funding from permitting dormitories
to house students of more than one sex in the same building.
These schools may provide separate housing for married
students. In addition, these schools may not allow visitation
by members of the opposite sex in dormitory sleeping rooms or
hallways in sleeping areas between 1:00 AM and 8:00 AM.
