HB 985 -- Fire Protection Districts

Co-Sponsors: Selby, Wagner

Current law prohibits an employee of a fire protection or
ambulance district from serving as a board member of a fire
district or ambulance district. This bill clarifies that the
prohibition applies to any district located wholly or partially
within the same county as the fire district or ambulance district
where the person is employed.
