HB 978 -- Official Immunity

This bill provides officers or employees of the state or its
political subdivisions with immunity from civil liability for
losses caused by a computer system's malfunction relating to the
processing of dates.  The immunity applies only if the computer
system was designed and maintained in substantial compliance
with generally accepted computer and information system
standards.

This bill has an expiration date of December 31, 2005.
