HB 976 -- Equalized Operating Levy for School Funding

Sponsor: Patek

Currently, the school funding formula requires that a district's
operating levy be equalized when the percentage of true value of
assessed valuations in the county in which the district is
located falls outside certain levels of precision. This bill
removes equalization of the operating levy from several sections
of school finance law.
