HB 969 -- Joint Committee on Economic Development Policy and

Current law authorizes payment of the expenses, including
compensation of personnel, for the Joint Committee on Economic
Development Policy and Planning to be made only from the joint
contingent fund.  This bill allows these expenses to be paid
either from the joint contingent fund or from the committee's
appropriations.  The bill also extends the sunset date for the
committee from July 1, 1999, to July 1, 2010.
