TRULY AGREED

HB 920 -- COORDINATING BOARD FOR HIGHER EDUCATION

Currently, an advisory committee to the Coordinating Board for
Higher Education is comprised of 22 members, 3 of whom are
public community college representatives selected by the
community college presidents each biennium. This bill deletes
the provision for the 3 community college representatives. The
bill also increases the advisory committee membership from 22 to
32 members, with the inclusion on the committee of the president
of Linn State Technical College and the president or chancellor
of each public community college district. The bill also
clarifies that public or private higher education educators or
administrators may not be appointed as members of the
Coordinating Board.
