HB 887 -- Income Tax Credit for Child Care Expenses

Sponsor:  Ward

This bill authorizes a state individual income tax credit equal
to any amount claimed as a credit for child and dependent care
expenses on the individual's federal income tax return.

The credit is not refundable and cannot be carried forward to
future tax years if the amount of the credit exceeds the
taxpayer's liability.
