HB 842 -- Court Commissioners

Sponsor: May (108)

This bill converts the positions of court commissioners to
associate circuit judges. The position of commissioner is
converted with the expiration of the commissioner's term or the
commissioner's death, resignation, or removal from office. An
exception exists for the positions of probate commissioners for
St. Louis County, St. Louis City, and Jackson County, which are
converted to circuit judge positions rather than associate
circuit judge positions.
