HB 84 -- Certain Retired State Employees

Sponsor: Clayton

In 1997, several categories of members of the state employees'
retirement system who terminated on or after October 1, 1984,
became eligible to choose another retirement option or to
receive a recalculated benefit and, in certain circumstances, a
lump-sum payment. Under this bill, the October 1, 1984, date is
eliminated.
