HB 84 -- Certain Retired State Employees Sponsor: Clayton In 1997, several categories of members of the state employees' retirement system who terminated on or after October 1, 1984, became eligible to choose another retirement option or to receive a recalculated benefit and, in certain circumstances, a lump-sum payment. Under this bill, the October 1, 1984, date is eliminated.
