HB 823 -- Frivolous Complaints by Prisoners

Co-Sponsors:  Relford, Seigfreid, Crump, Smith, Ransdall, Gratz

This bill attaches an additional 60 days to the time an
incarcerated offender is first eligible for parole or
conditional release or deducts from the offender's account
balance a sum of 50% of the offender's average account balance
of the preceding year, if the appropriate licensing board or the
Administrative Hearing Commission determines the offender has
filed a false, frivolous, or malicious complaint against a
podiatrist, chiropractor, physician, surgeon, or nurse.
