This bill makes the apple the official fruit of the State of
Missouri.

PROPONENTS:  Supporters say that the apple has a long history in
Missouri.  The apple is the largest fruit crop in Missouri.
Missouri is the second largest apple producer state in the
country.

Testifying for the bill were Representatives Naeger and Davis
