HB 768 -- Income Tax Deduction for Social Security

Co-Sponsors:  Black, Hanaway, Merideth, Secrest, Dolan, Bartle,
Schwab

This bill allows as a subtraction from federal adjusted gross
income, for the purpose of determining Missouri individual
income tax liability, any amount of Social Security benefits
received to the extent the amount is included in federal
adjusted gross income.

This bill will become effective January 1, 2000.
