HB 754 -- Compulsory School Attendance

Sponsor:  Rizzo

This bill raises the age of compulsory school attendance from 16
to 18, requires parental permission for a child between 14 and
18 to be excused from full-time attendance, and makes children
between 14 and 18 subject to a class C misdemeanor for violating
school attendance laws.
