HB 742 -- Twenty-first Century Education Trust Fund

Co-Sponsors:  Kreider, Fitzwater

Contingent upon the approval of a constitutional amendment to
article X, section 18, directing half of excess revenues into
education, this bill establishes the Twenty-first Century
Education Trust Fund to be used to reduce dropout rates and to
provide funding for Parents as Teachers, teacher hiring
incentives and career development, loan forgiveness for new
teachers, technology upgrades, and programs to improve student
achievement in math, science, and reading.
