HB 732 -- Income Tax Deduction for Dependents Co-Sponsors: Kelley (47), Long Under current law, individual income taxpayers can deduct on their state income tax return $1,200 for each dependent allowed on the federal income tax return. This bill increases the deduction to $2,100 for tax year 1999 and thereafter.
