HB 716 -- State Employees as Volunteer Tutors

Co-Sponsors:  McClelland, Hosmer

This bill permits state employees to be granted leave of up to
40 hours per year to participate in tutoring or mentoring
programs in public and private schools.  The bill specifies
conditions for employee participation and requires that agencies
with participating employees submit a summary of the extent of
participation.  The Missouri Community Service Commission must
submit to the General Assembly an annual report compiling this
information.
