HB 684 -- Income Tax Deduction for Federal Income Taxes Paid Co-Sponsors: Ross, Gibbons, Gunn, Lograsso, Secrest, Evans This bill removes the individual income tax deduction limit for federal income taxes paid by a taxpayer beginning on January 1, 2000. Under current law, the federal income tax deduction is limited to $5,000 for a single taxpayer and $10,000 for married taxpayers.
