HB 601 -- Education Fund for Inmates Co-Sponsors: Troupe, Riback Wilson, Schilling, Gratz, Crump, Leake, Boykins This bill requires that up to 40% of any profit made by the state from long distance calls made from correctional facilities be placed in the Telephone-Education Fund within the state treasury. The money will be used for post-secondary education for inmates.
