This bill modifies the income tax credit for contributions to
certain domestic violence centers and maternity homes.  The bill
defines contributions to mean donations of cash, stock, bonds,
or other marketable securities and allows domestic violence
centers and maternity homes to decline a contribution from a
taxpayer.

FISCAL NOTE:  No impact on state funds.

PROPONENTS:  Supporters say that this bill will allow taxpayers

Testifying for the bill were Representative Barry; Missouri
Coalition Against Domestic Violence; and Campaign Life Missouri.

OPPONENTS:  There was no opposition voiced to the committee.
