HB 529 -- Child Passengers in Motor Vehicles

Sponsor:  May (108)

This bill prohibits anyone from allowing a child to ride in the
front seat of a motor vehicle equipped with front passenger air
bags, unless the air bags are deactivated.  Any person violating
this provision is guilty of an infraction and, upon conviction,
may be punished by a fine of not more than $25 and court cost.
