HB 505 -- Driver's Licenses

Co-Sponsors: May (108), O'Toole

This bill requires any court having jurisdiction over charges of
any person who has failed to pay 10 or more county or municipal
parking violations and related cost to inform the person, within
10 days of the failure to comply, that the court will order the
Director of Revenue to suspend the person's driving privileges
if the charges are not disposed of within 30 days. Thereafter,
if the person fails to comply, the court will notify the
director of such failure and of the pending charges. The
director will immediately suspend the driving privileges and
provide notice of the suspension.

The director will reinstate all driving privileges upon proof of
disposition of all charges and payment of fines and court cost
and notify the person of the reinstatement and the effective
date of the reinstatement.
