HB 503 -- Motor Vehicle Safety Inspection

Sponsor:  Scheve

This bill requires all emergency vehicles of political
subdivisions to annually submit a yearly maintenance report
identifying mechanical improvements or general maintenance
performed.  The Superintendent of the Highway Patrol will
prescribe forms for the maintenance report.  The reports will be
made available to the public upon request.  These provisions
will not apply to vehicles owned or used by fire protection
districts or volunteer fire departments.
