HB 47 -- Property Tax-Assessment Freeze Sponsor: Bonner This bill freezes the assessment level of any real property of a taxpayer after the taxpayer reaches the age of 62 years. The property must be the principal residence of the taxpayer. This bill will become effective January 1, 2000.
