This bill changes references to the head of the Department of
Transportation from Chief Engineer to the Director of
Transportation.

FISCAL NOTE:  No impact on state funds.

COMMITTEE ACTION:  Voted "do pass by consent" by the Committee
on Transportation by a vote of 20 to 0.

This bill changes references to the head of the Department of
Transportation from Chief Engineer to the Director of
Transportation.

FISCAL NOTE:  No impact on state funds.

PROPONENTS:  Supporters say that this bill is basically clean-up
language.  Several references relating to the new Director of
the Department of Transportation were inadvertently omitted in
the bill creating the Director.

Testifying for the bill were Representative Koller; and
Transportation Department.

OPPONENTS:  There was no opposition voiced to the committee.
