reason why that disclosure would harm the deceased individual's
estate or relatives.

PROPONENTS:  Supporters say that this bill is necessary to save
money for the state.  If the bill is not passed, the state will
be required to remove the Social Security number of deceased
individuals from records at a high cost.

Testifying for the bill were Representative Gross; and the
Office of the Secretary of State.

OPPONENTS:  There was no opposition voiced to the committee.
