HB 436 -- Public Meetings

Sponsor:  Levin

This bill requires school boards, fire protection district
boards, county commissions, and city or municipal governments to
allow time in public meetings for the public to discuss public
business.  The governing body may establish procedures for the
orderly scheduling of speakers who are appearing to support or
oppose an issue.
