HB 398 -- Grandparent Visitation

Sponsor: Mays (50)

Under current law, when grandparents have been denied visitation
with their grandchildren and have requested mediation, any
agreement reached between the parties is not binding on them.
This bill requires the agreement to be reduced to writing and
makes it binding upon the parties once it is ratified by a judge.
