HB 387 -- Patriotic and Historic Material in Schools

Sponsor:  Linton

This bill allows local school boards to permit teachers and
administrators to read or post in public school buildings and at
school events any excerpt from a specified list of documents and
verses related to American and Missouri history and patriotism.
The bill prohibits censorship of any of the specified items
based on religious reference.
