HB 361 -- License Plates

Sponsor:  Elliott

This bill allows any beneficiary who inherits a motor vehicle
from a decedent to whom he or she is related within the second
degree of consanguinity or affinity, to apply for a transfer of
the previous owner's license plates and not be required to apply
for new license plates.  Such person will be required to
transfer the previous owner's license plates within 60 days of
the date of transfer of the motor vehicle.  The transfer fee
will be $2.00.
