HB 353 -- Nurse First Assistants

This bill creates the title of registered nurse first assistant
within the nursing profession in this state.  The bill requires
the Board of Nursing to specify which professional nursing
organization certifications will be recognized when determining
eligibility for the title of registered nurse first assistant.
The board is also required to establish certain criteria that
must be met before granting the title of registered nurse first
assistant for those nurses which have not been recognized by a
national nursing organization.
