HB 259 -- Employer Immunity for References

Under this bill an employer is presumed to be acting in good
faith when the employer provides a job reference at the request
of an employee or a prospective employer of the employee.  The
employer is immune from civil liability for providing a
reference unless the employer knowingly provided false
information.
