HB 253 -- Condemnation Proceedings

Sponsor: Treadway

This bill changes the requirements for appointing commissioners
in condemnation proceedings. The court is required to appoint
as commissioners a licensed real estate broker and a licensed
real estate appraiser. If no person with those qualifications
is available for appointment, the court may appoint another
qualified person to serve as commissioner.
