HB 240 -- Sales Tax Exemption for Nonprescription Drugs Co-Sponsors: Levin, Secrest Under current law, over-the-counter or nonprescription drugs sold to individuals with disabilities are exempt from state and local sales and use tax. This bill extends the exemption to sale of over-the-counter or nonprescription drugs to any individual.
