HB 193 -- Transfers of School Funds

Sponsor: Gaskill

This bill revises the schedule for deduction of amounts
transferred in error by a school district between the incidental
and capital projects accounts from the district's state aid.
Currently, a district would have the entire amount deducted from
its state aid within the next year. This bill permits deduction
of up to 10% of the district's current operating costs, with the
entire amount to be deducted in no more than 5 years.

The bill contains an emergency clause.
